UMSOD's 2nd Annual Research Day

The University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD) will hold a Research Day -- showcasing the innovative research being conducted by its master's degree candidates, predoctoral PhD students, and postdoctoral trainees - on Monday, March 3. The event, which will be held from 9 a.m.-4:0 p.m. at the Dr. Samuel D. Harris National Museum of Dentistry, will include poster sessions presented by the trainees and oral presentations by faculty members from nine UMSOD departments.

The keynote address, "Winding pathways driving normal hematopoietic stem-progenitors and leukemias" will be presented by Curt I. Civin, MD, ScD (hon), Philip A. Zaffere Distinguished Professor in Regenerative Medicine, Professor of Pediatrics and Pharmacology, Physiology & Drug Development, Director, Center for Stem Cell Biology & Regenerative Medicine, Scientist, UM Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, University of Maryland School of Medicine
