Clinical Assistant Professor Lisa D’Affronte, DDS ’12, currently serves as assistant general practice director in the Department of General Dentistry. She graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry second in her class in 2012. She spent one year as a Diamond Scholar in the Advanced Education in General Dentistry clinic. Dr. D’Affronte was awarded the Dr. William S. Kramer Award of Excellence, representing potential promise for future advancement in the profession of dentistry and service to humanity. She was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. D’Affronte went on to complete a residency in general dentistry at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. She currently has a general dentistry faculty practice at UMSOD.
