GENERAL PRACTICE DIVISION

Students in the Department of General Dentistry work in the SIM lab

  • The Division General Dentistry is actively involved in didactic and clinical integration for the entire duration of the pre-clinical and clinical years of predoctoral student education.
  • Our problem-based learning approach constantly emphasizes critical thinking along with clinical application in the patient-care setting.

The Division of General Practice is based on the Group Practice model. The Predoctoral Clinic is divided into 8 group practices (GPs), each shared by two GP directors, who are responsible for approximately 16 third-year and 16 fourth-year students.
