Qian Harasta, RDH, MSDH, joined the Dental Hygiene Faculty Team in 2023 after earning her BS/MS dual degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry (UMSOD) that same year. She is dedicated to teaching quality patient care and studying interprofessional collaboration in prenatal oral health to improve access to dental care for underserved pregnant individuals. Qian is currently working on a maternal-child health partnership program between UMSOD and the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services.
