Dr. Oksana Mishler, RDH, MS, DHSc is a Clinical Associate Professor in both the division of Periodontics and the division of Dental Hygiene. Dr. Mishler's teaching and administrative responsibilities are divided between dental, dental hygiene and postgraduate periodontal education programs. She also provides clinical dental hygiene services for periodontally involved adults through the Postgraduate Periodontics clinic. She is a member of Sigma Phi Alpha, the National Dental Hygiene Honor Society, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society, and the recipient of the 2019 Frank J. Sinnreich Jr. Award for excellence in teaching and 2022 Linda DeVore Dental Hygiene Alumni of the Year Award. Dr. Mishler’s research interests include employing advanced technology in pre-clinical education and incorporating mental health screenings in dental settings.
