Mrs. Chathurika Weerasinghe, RDH MSDH, Clinical Assistant Professor received an associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Allegany College of Maryland in 2016, a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Dentistry (UMSOD) in 2018 and a master’s degree in dental hygiene at University of Bridgeport, Fones School of Dental Hygiene in 2021

Before joining the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Dentistry (UMSOD), Mrs. Weerasinghe served as faculty at Fortis College in Landover, Maryland teaching courses in Community Oral Health, Oral Health Education, Dental Hygiene Clinic, and Periodontology I/ II. She participated in Advanced Dental Hygiene Clinical Courses, and Head/Neck Anatomy. Mrs. Weerasinghe’s roles at the UMSOD are clinical and didactic teaching at our Universities at Shady Grove campus.
