The mission of the Endodontics Division is to improve the oral and systemic health of the public while preserving the natural dentition by advancing endodontic knowledge through research and the transmission of information related to biologically sound procedures and materials.  Focused on research and scholarship, the Division is currently exploring the impact of systemic diseases and drugs on endodontic healing outcomes.  The endodontic Division is committed to educating dentists to practice evidence-based dentistry as it relates to the specialty.
