The Diamond Scholars Program offers the highest-achieving dental students access to more advanced cases. Each year, several dental students are selected to work alongside Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residents in the clinic. They learn to provide more advanced dental treatments. Through an ambitious clinical training program, diamond scholars perform nearly twice as many dental procedures as a typical fourth-year dental student.
