Dr. Monica Schneider is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry. She earned her dental degree from the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia, holds a certificate in Orthodontics and a MS in Science from University of Minnesota – School of Dentistry. Dr. Schneider is involved in teaching dental students and orthodontic residents didactic and clinical orthodontics, she also provides orthodontic care at the School of Dentistry Faculty Practice. Dr. Schneider is also a member of the Cleft Palate Team at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. In January 2022, Dr. Schneider, was appointed Assistant Dean of Admissions and Recruitment. In this capacity, she is responsible for coordinating recruitment activities and managing the application and admissions processes for the following programs: Doctor of Dental Surgery, Dental Hygiene, and Advanced Dental Education.
