Clinical Assistant Professor Sara Franz, DDS, is a native Baltimorean. She grew up in Catonsville and earned her bachelor’s degree at McDaniel College, where she was a four-year member and captain of the women’s basketball team. After graduating from UMSOD, she earned a one-year certificate from the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. Upon completion of the residency program, Dr. Franz entered private practice in Towson. In addition, she practices at a retirement community in Parkville where she treats a wide range of patients, from active adults to nursing home residents. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and Maryland Dental Association. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and pet Yorkie. An avid athlete, Franz participates in local races and sports leagues throughout the year.
