Clinical Assistant Professor Isabel Rambob, DDS

Clinical Assistant Professor Isabel Rambob, DDS, received her doctor of dental surgery degree from the State University of Peira de Santana, Brazil in 1997. She then worked in private practice as a general dentist until 2002. Dr. Rambob completed a one-year program in advanced education in comprehensive dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry in 2007. She then completed a one-year residency program in advanced education in general dentistry at Howard University College of Dentistry in 2008. From 2009 until 2010, she served as dental director at the National Minority AIDS Education and Training Center and as an oral health preceptor at Howard University College of Medicine.

Rambob worked as a dental provider in the UMSOD PLUS Clinic and a clinical instructor in the Special Patient Clinic from 2009 until 2012. She also served as clinical instructor in the Urgent Care Clinic from 2010 through 2011.

Currently, Dr. Rambob is an assistant professor in the Department of General Dentistry. She is also a guest lecturer for GPR and AEGD residency programs at Howard University College of Dentistry and has lectured nationally and internationally. Rambob has practiced general dentistry for more than 15 years. Her main interests are: cosmetic dentistry, dental photography and oral health in medically-compromised individuals.
